Troy Synchro Sharkettes

The Sharkettes are a synchronized swimming club team with members ages 6-19, based in Troy, MI and attracting swimmers of all levels from Metro-Detroit, including Troy, Birmingham, Ann Arbor, Livonia, Rochester, Northville, Farmington Hills, Oxford, and Lake Orion.

Currently we primarily practice year-round from fall through spring/summer at Troy Athens High School and in the winter and spring/summer some of our age group swimmers also practice at the Livonia Community Recreation Center.

The Sharkettes was formed in 2003 by Head Coach Erin O’Brien and former Age Group Coach Olga Kouznetsova (now with the Walnut Creek Aquanuts) after a few of the local high school synchronized swimmers inquired about synchronized swimming in the post-season.

The club was born.

The club started out with approximately 10 girls and made it to Age Group National Competition during our second season.  We have represented the State of Michigan both nationally and internationally since 2003!  Currently, our competitive team boasts membership of approximately 25 swimmers of all levels and ages.

We have 5 coaches and an invaluable Team Manager to assist our club with meets and fundraising.

Troy Synchro Sharkettes is a 501(C)(3) organization.

Any donations to the club are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
